Do whatever you have to, say move to another location where you get
your own enclosed garage, anything. Just stop breaking our hearts
with your horror stories with your white beauty.
PS. I now (for the first time since 1997 when I bought my car) have
to park my car in a garage that is NOT for my exclusive use. In my
apartment complex, my car is parked in an underground lot, which
while it is underground and has a locked gate, allows a particular
cat to go walking around the garage.
Of all the cars in the garage, it has learned that I drive my car
pretty hard, and that the engine gets nice and warm. So it comes and
walks on my hood with its muddy paws. It really sucks after washing
my car. Anyhow, I write asking if anyone has any bright ideas to keep
the cat off my hood. Any brilliant ideas? I only have the factory
keyless entry (option added later, not stock) so I don't have a
proximity sensor. What is the most elegant solution (without doing
harm to the cat?) What's the least expensive solution (again, I love
cats, just not on my car)?
