Spark plugs

Hey, folks.
   Car's been hesitating a bit when I upshift and then accellerate. A 
little buck, then it goes. Could this be plugs? Even if not, the car's 
got 74K miles on it, and needs plugs anyhow. Recommendations? NGK? Bosch 
Platinum +4?
   Also, what happens during the 50K mile checkup? Plugs, I think, and 
fuel filter, but anything else?
