Jiffy Lube

So it's time for another oil change, and while the dealership does
give good service, getting there before 7 and having to get a ride
back is just a total pain in the ass.  I would love to go to
Jiffy Lube.  Now based on what some people had said I checked
and yes, I would need to supply my own oil filter.  So I've got
two questions:

1)	Have people had bad experiences with a place like
	Jiffy Lube?  Are there better alternatives in the
	"Silicon Valley" area that are as convienent?

2)	If I need to supply my own filter, can someone give me
	the part number so I can go to a regular auto supply store
	instead of the dealership?
