the '94 Jetta GLX front fenders do have emblems in them.  Snap the
emblems out and you have a recessed rectangular opening for European
side marker lights.  I am in the process of replacing my stock fenders,
which have already been drilled for the clip on side markers, for the
'94 Jetta GLX fenders.  There is an oddity as far as price goes from the
local dealers.  The driver's side front fender is approximately $90.00
while the front passenger side front fender is $130.00.
