RE: Idiots from Superbowl Cruise.

Here's the situation......Donaldson's VW employees rearranged their lot on
Saturday so we would have enough room to park all the cars involved with the
convoy in their guarded lot. They also checked the status and condition of
all their cars at that time. After the cruise the Donaldsons VW employees
went out and checked their lot to make sure everything was in order and
found that an A2 Jetta that is part of their inventory (used car for sale
maybe?) had it's front bumper removed. We were the only ones in the lot
inbetween them checking and there is a single security guard on duty 24/7.
There were cars from our convoy parked by the area of the A2 Jetta in
question. It would have been very easy to grab the bumper and run. An A2
front bumper is actually quite easy to get on and off. That is the general
turn of events.

Okay, i'm trying to see your point here... But...

what i'm saying is (playing devil's advocate, of course) why would it be
one of your cruisers? Let me throw it at you a different way... If one
of your cruisers "lost" a bumper, would you expect Donaldson's to pay
for it? I assume that said security guard did not see who it was, else
you would know, and wewould shun said person... (Which brings up an
interesting point: What the fuck was said security guard doing whilst
someone was walking away with a bumper?)

I only ask because while i applaud your good citizenship, it may just be
misplaced in this instance.

Actually, i'd probably have done the same thing. I'm just wondering
what drove you to the conclusion (aside form keeping people happy) that
YOU would be paying for the bumper?

(somewhat confused) Sundie...
