Re: frozen (?) e-brake

mines in minnesota, so i know the pains.
i am continuously amazed at the cold weather
problems with this car, doesn't it get cold in
germany???????? read on below for other
cold weather problems.

i have had the same problem and was just forced to
let the car warm up enough to free it.

i took the car to work one day on a minus 25-35 day
and locked as normal.... after coming out to use the car
i tried to open the door, with the key... well, the lock was
frozen and my wife has the remotes (which i guess would
work?).. i went to the passenger door to try that one and
found no lock.. amazing... as i was feeling fahervernugen, i
opened the car from the trunk and crawled through.
luckily, the little knob wasn't pushed down on the seat.
the lock froze up several more times that winter.

the defrosters do not keep the entire window 'hot', i mean
that the snow or otherwise that accumulates under the wiper
will not melt.. very annoying in a storm, etc.

good luck.
