Re: selling a 99 A3

Still have the car for sale, 18,500 is the absolute
lowest price.  The car is free of any liens - just
trying to get the 'value' out of it.  Still in great
condition, recent mileage is only to keep the engine
lubricated.

I don't think that I try and rip anyone off.
I have sold several cars - I am just having a 
dificult time getting rid of this one.  I recently
sold a BMW without much fanfare.  So I 
don't think it is me...
Some observations of selling this car.
- most are interested in the A4 body style
- most are female who test drive, or can't
because they are afraid of the manual transmission
- number of more 'utlitarian' jettas make the
actual worth of the car reduced.  
- most are not aware of the 6 cylinder engine

other stuff -
-  the front removable reflector - for the jack
point - is a favorite of theives.  I have already
lost two of these stupid things.

flame me, or don't, i just want to sell
this thing.
