Compression/Reset of Rear Caliper Pistons

Hey List:

Forgive me for what is probably an old thread, but does anyone know of an
alternative to special tool #3272 to return and reset the piston into the
rear caliper?

I see that Rapid Parts offers calipers and new bearings as a set.  Is this a
good thing at 50k miles, and is it easy to do, i.e. any more special tools?
Any BTDTs?
