If you're looking for higher treadwear don't get the re71. I have run both
the
VR(early) and ZR(later) RE71s as well as the old re91s and all of them wore
out between 10-15k. I think the treadwear is rated at 140. I just keep
buying
them because of the awesome handling. I can't compare it to the sp8k or the
AVSis, but I can say it is much better than the Yokohama 509s and the
Dunlop D40m2. The only problems I have had with the RE71's is near the
end of its life cycle, the outer sidewall develops miniature cracks in the
rubber. Other than the the tires are awesome. BTW: the tires were all
used on my g60 in the 205/50/15 sizes.
