Passat questions?

I am getting rid of my 98 Jetta GLX after consistent problems, but not
enough to be a lemon. I am not sure if I want to go the Vw route again
but there are few cars out there that I like with a manual. I did have
a couple of questions regarding the Passats because I do not like the
new Jettas and hate the seat adjustments even more. This brings me to
my first question. Can you special order a GLS V6 Manual with power
seats or will this be an option on the 2000? When are the 2000's do
out? What new options and standards will be on the 2000? THanks.
