I use Mercedes approved synthetic i mine. Haven't had to put ANY oil in since the last change. It just does not burn off. And the last change was like 4000km ago.
Which reminds me, it's due.
I can't remember the name off hand, but i'll look in my trunk at mmy spare cannister, and see what it's called.
