spark plugs + tech manuals
Anyone currently using the Bosch Platinum +4
plugs? Any good word on them for the VR6? How hard is changing the plugs? I have
looked at the engine of my 96, and they seem fairly deeply set, thanks to
whatever it is on top of the engine (intake Manifold, I assume - I haven't yet
taken much time to get to know the engine compartment of this car). What do I
have to do to get the old plugs out and the new ones in, or is it just like any
other plug change? Also, I picked up a Haynes for 94-97 Jettas and Golfs, only
to find that they didn't include the 2.8 VR6 engine, so I have no tips. Anyone
know of a comparable shop reference guide that covers the 2.8?
Thanks.
