Here's a question about tinted windows: Here in Illinois, the maximum
allowable tinting on the fronts is NONE. Of course, lots of people tint
anyway -- just as I'm sure plenty of folks who live in states which
allow some tinting exceed the allowable limit. Some who tint tell me
that their experience has been that most cops don't care if you're
tinting, as long as when they pull you over, you roll 'em down so they
can approach your car without wondering whether the back seat is filled
with trigger-happy, weapons-toting baddies. What has been all y'all's
experience? Does anyone on this list live in a zero-front-window-tint
state and have tint?
