My two cents worth... I had a 90 GLI 16V & now have a GLX VR6 and can say that, yep, the GLI handled better. But it was too low & too stiff to deal with crappy Midwestern roads. I love my GLX, but it is too high and too soft (+ those awful stock tires!!!!) Something between the two would be "just right". Are you listening, Ferdinand? Taylor Bryan
