Gas smell-94 glx

Hey all,

Everyday when I start my GLX I'm assailed with a strong gas odor.  I
popped the hood and sniffed around and it's coming from the air filter
area.  My guess is that the carbon filter is in that fender and it's
leaking or damaged or something.

Has anybody experienced anything like this?  What to do, what to do...
