Mmmm. Pull out your tape deck, then put it in but not quite all the way. 
*grin* It's a joke. Lots of folks have had their alarm "chirp" 
mysteriously cease after replacing the head unit, then have it work again 
after pressing their headunit firmly into its hole (no jokes, please). 
Mine never "chirped," though. One of the oddities of the '95 GLX.
