You hit max pulling power at 4200 rpms, but that doesn't mean the curve
dies off right at 4200 rpms. Since you hit max HP at 5800 rmps, your point
would best be stated that you're best off shifting between 4200 and 5800
rpms. HOWEVER, realize that if you shift up at 5800 rpms, your next gear
will be lower than 4200 rpms so you'll be worse off than had you kept going
to 6200rpms, and then shift into the next gear, and only be a couple
hundred rpms away from 4200rpms your peak pulling power.

Does that make sense?
