plugged a DIN-compliant alarm clock's relay feed into the Remote Starter
Transmitter's AutoRelay socket?  That *is* schweet (albeit
wallet-intensive)!

Although I wouldn't be as sure as Dave Fournier in believing that any
alarm system can prevent the handheld mixer's theft; you're counting on
the common smah-n-grab street kid's knowledge that this high-quality,
German-made moto-culinary appliance requires a security code to
reactivate once removed from the vehicle.  In my opinion, it's just not
worth the risk; I'd rather re-enter my code every time I need a frosty
frozen beverage while cruising.  (Although I believe ND now carries a
special Stealth LockBox designed specifically for storing the hand
mixer, but I hear it takes away too much rear seat legroom.)
