the mad bastard <stoopid@idirect.com>: twin VR6 turbo NOS rabbit...

Picked this up from the Scirocco list. I belive Jason lives in Canada.
Anyone heard of this car. I know about the one from England with the
2.9l and 2.8 l engines, but I didn't think it was turbo and this one
sounds like it is a work in progress.

hey people, a couple weeks ago wheni was at the 1/4 mile track, i was
told by a buddy of mine that there would be a turbo VR6 rabbit showing
up to run the strip.

he apparently has the motor set up in the back of the car. i
thought
that it sounded possible, but unlikely, as he had heard it from someone
who knew the mad mechanic...

well, tonight i was talking to another buddy of mine who doesn't
know
the other guy i was talking to, and he tells me that last night he and
another friend of ours saw the rabbit! he's got a turbo 6 in the trunk,
and is waiting on the other turbo 6 right now, as it will be going into
the front of the car. PLUS, he's setting it up to run off the
bottle(s).

so, twin VR6 turbos both of which are being fed juice. this car
is
going to make some serious noise if it comes together. sounds like it
could possibly push 600 to 700 hp. course, it will weigh a frickin
ton...but what a monster!

just thought that you might like to know...
