ooppss... i dunno if there are smog rules outside of cali...  if not, then your in luck.  California has a smog rule.. you have to have your car smogged every two years to register your car.  if it does not pass, then you can not register your car.  if they are not carb exempt, then they are most deff illegal in cali.. but as far other states... I DUNNO??
