hrm.. on speed bumps I go very slow!  the car still drove very well for California(Los Angeles) driving.  I have been told by many people that other states have much worse roads, so I dunno if I would try it anywhere else.  I have had to pay a big price for the car being that low, but if your willing, its not big deal.  You also have to  cut out the front fenders completely, and the rears also... not just behind the door.  
the happy medium is two inches... anything more than that, you almost have to be crazy, or live in California!
