I actually saw the v6 4wd passat last Saturday.  I never got a chance to drive because it was blocked in by a Volkswagen Caravelle.. it is a big minivan.  I also saw a 4wd a4 VW.  they were being shipped back over to Germany.  their was 3 minivans total, 1 passat, and 1 golf VW had over here for testing purposes.
the passat interior looked pretty clean.  the mini cans kinda looked like the new beetle inside with a long shifter.  all in all, they were pretty cool.  one of the mini vans was pretty small like a Honda quest(sorry for the comparison).  they were all pretty nice, lots of bugs in the grill tho...
