Hmmm... it looks like VW hasn't updated their site in a while, but
there's some basic info at http://www3.vw.com/owners/funinthefut.htm.
They've been sending stuff in the mail about it for the last couple
months.

Basically, they start out Saturday morning in Santa Barbera, and drive
up the coast to Monterey, with various hosted stops along the way -
Hearst Castle, Big Sur, etc.  Spend the night at a hotel here in
Monterey (well, if you don't live here :), and then go around to
various sites around Monterey (Carmel, Pebble Beach, etc) on Sunday.

I think they want $30 or so per car to participate.  

I'm planning on driving down early Saturday morning, and probably
skipping the Sunday events, since I'm reasonablly familar with the
area :)

Call the VW Club at 800-374-8389 for more info.  I'm sure they can
make you a member if you're not, too.
