Well, I can tell one of my experiences. If the front wheels, the
left and right, are inflated in different pressures, the car
tends to steer to the less inflated wheel. Such trivial things
make a car become off-center. I imagine that if one of the
springs becomes loose, or the shock is leaking, may happen a
similar thing.

Other possibility is that the wheels need an alignment.
Technical Graphic:  |-/  ->  if the wheels have this layout, or
a \-/, or /-| layout, the car can't stay on the line by itself.

In other words, if both tires aren't rolling to an absolute
straight direction, the whole car tends to go to the right or
left by itself. You may check the tires' wear, just to see if
it's uneven between the center or any side of the tire pattern.

Is just one possibility...
