This answers were:

1)  I have a '98 White GLX with black door handles.  I believe the only model

to come with matching door handles was the Wolfsburg Edition.

2)  I do not have a light in my glovebox.  They did put a light in my
ash-tray,
but not in the glovebox.  Makes lots of sense... doesn't it.

3)  I too enjoy my GLX very much.... except for some of the rattles.
