It had to happen Vol. II

	The insurance guy called me today.  It's up to $10K damage.  The insurance
co. authorized the body shop to saw the hood open to see how much
internal/hidden damage there is.  The magic number is $16K before they
total the car.  If it even gets to 12 or 13, I'm going to scream bloody
murder.  I'll talk about how the engine has the 10yr/100K mi. warranty on
it, and with only 8K mi. on the engine, that's a long time for things to go
wrong.  
	I wonder if they will buy the fact that VW might not honor the warranty
beacuse it's been hit, and I'm sure the insurance company doesn't want to
hear from me every time I hear a squeak, rattle, or buzz.
	If it does get totalled, anyone know when the Jetta IV hits out shores?
If it's this fall, a new 5-valve V-5 GLX might be quite nice.
