Neuspeed P-Flow vs. K&N Cone filter

Happy Memorial Day,

     Does anyone have a Neuspeed P-Flow?  I've heard that replacing the air
box with a K&N cone filter has the same effect?  Which is better?  Is the P-
Flow really expensive?  How much can I expect to pay for it?  Also, once you
remove the air box, don't you need to keep the air cool somehow?
