RE: Wheels, rims and fender gaps



Good point.  What I'm looking for here is a nice rim to rubber ratio.
The 40 series on 17's looks awfully thin compared to a large rim.
Although performance is rock solid due to a super stiff sidewall, looks
can be not quite right.  It's a judgement call, and part of the fun in
deciding which way to go.

I wish there was a computer program that would allow you to enter in all
these parameters and see how they look on your auto.  Any programmers
out there?  I'd pay money for something like this.  Until then, I rely
on the mods pics and details from my fellow GLXers.  Thanks.

	is there a reason why you wanna go with 45 series tires??  that
will throw your speedo, and gas milage way off....that is tooo munch
mass for our weight cars to be pushing with the gear ratio that comes on
the stock tranny...
