I'm very sorry that you had to find out how well the Jetta GLX stands up
in an accident but thanks goodness it did.  I hope that you and your
date heal quickly from the scrapes left by the deployment of the
airbags.  Hopefully, your insurance company totals out you '97 Jetta
GLX.
