Use a full can of "Sea-Foam" in the engine oil, (or buy a can of Amsoil
Engine Flush, or go to Target, Wal-Mart etc and get one of the engine
flushes they have). Let the engine idle/fast idle for 15-20 minutes. Then
drain the old oil and solvent (seafoam). Add the "flushing oil" which is
just any ol' brand of conventional motor oil ... you are using the oil for
10- 20 minutes to flush out the crud and solvent from the engine then
draining. Now spin off the filter and repalce with a new one. Fill the
engine with synthetic and off you go.
Note: You DO NOT have to flush unless the car has high mileage...it is a
nice touch though.
