RE: 8 or 10 speaker Bose?

The rear door dummy panels had tweeters in 'em until mid-'96 and the woofers
were in the bottom of the doors. Then they moved everything to the rear deck
to actually get some bass. They still put the piece with the dummy panel on
because that is the piece that they use in all of the  jettas and 4-door
golfs- the dummy snaps out and tweeters snap in, in a golf. Cost-efficiency.
