RE: So I am stupid with my new GLX



Are we talking about the blue w/ white stripe wire? The harness adapter I   
got from Crutchfield had a blue wire as well, and I just connected the   
two. Now that I think about it, maybe that connection is for the Jettas   
with power antennas (not Fuba). I'll hook up the white wire from the Fuba   
adapter to the blue one from the head unit and see what happens. Thanks.

The white wire should be the 12V power lead for the Fuba amplifier.
My Eclipse head unit has a power antenna lead on it that seems to work
just fine (before I had no AM reception).  If you don't have an
antenna lead, try the amplifier remote power on or anything else
controlled by the head unit.  If all else fails, use the ignition
switched power lead for the stereo.
