wheel spacers

is anyone running wheel-spacers?if so, what size? hub-centric? what
make?

if so, what is the maximum width spacer we can use before we sacrifice
structural rigidity in the wheels?

if i ran 10mm spacers on my wheels, would i be significantly sacrificing
wheel to hub strength?
