I don't think the games themselves are formatted for PAL-  I think that
part is done by the hardware.

BAck when I used to spend months in Hong Kong (PAL system), the nintendo
games for us would work there, provided you have a PAL unit to work with
the PAL TV.  Going by this, the UK game should work just as well as any
foreign game.

BTW: in hong Kong, almost everything is 'multi-system' now, so they
don;t really sell PAL consoles anymore-  almost everything is NTSC,
running from video inputs. I'd assume they have a similar thing in the
UK?
