      About the K&N... I just installed a drop-in in my un-modded airbox 
last week.  So far, I haven't noticed a damn thing.  But this is what I 
expected anyway, since one of the car magazines (I can't remember which, 
but it might have been car and driver) did tests about a year ago and 
found no difference between the K&N and the stock.  I don't know if your 
cold air bath will have any effect on the K&N.
