Stock springs oddity?

Greetings.
   I guess I just noticed this, but the front end of my '95 GLX
sits higher than the rear. What I mean by this is that the clear-
ance between the tire and the wheelwell in the rear is about 2"
to 3", while it's a good 4" or more in the front. This is when
the car it at rest, with stock springs and shocks and wheels and
tires and so forth. Is yours this way? Should it be?
   Any thoughts?
