RE: Seat problems

There are plastic caps or tips that fit over the end of the seat legs
that run in the guides along site the seat. If you find yourself
sliding/adjusting the seat up and back often, they may be slipping off.
These tips or caps are what makes contact with the guides or runners,
whatever you may call them. Sorry, don't have my Bentley book with me.
If they slide off, the seat will become very loose, rocking side to
side. What may be happening at the shop, is that the service tech may
simply be sliding the old part (which can be found in the guide after
it's come loss) back on the leg of the seat. I believe there is a clip
that holds this part on the leg. If it is broke the tip will continue to
come off.

Just slide the seat forward and you should see the tip in the guide
behind the "loss" leg.

My $0.02.
