Keyless Entry

I notice that the Wolfsburg edition has no keylocks on the door handles
execpt for the trunk. So if you keyless entry fails or the battery dies, how
do you get in? Some say go though the trunk, well on the jetta you need to
pull up on the latch to fold the seat down, how do you do that? I just don't
understand what VW's thought process is on this.. Am I overlooking something
simple?
