I bought a filter for a '98 GLX from Timmons when I bought a Euro Switch.  And
yes it was $9.95.  Since my car has only 10.5k miles, I haven't used the
filter yet or verified that it was the proper one, but they did know which
year I owned.  How can I tell if I have the appropriate filter?
