There is a problem with a lot of the 97 cars. there is a bad ECU
batch, I think it is the AA or A batch and the symptoms are backfiring
and poor timing. My friend with a 97 DE has the problem and the dealer
is going to send his brain back to Michigan to have it fixed, and
replaced with another box.
