Rolls & Bently
Actually, VW paid $780 mil for the Rolls/Bently
factories and the Bently name...BMW paid $68 mil for the Rolls name only...VW is
allowed to use the Rolls name till 2002 at which point BMW will begin using it,
BUT they will have to start from scratch...no factories or assembly plants...in
other words VW paid $780 mil to buy a company with an established business and
reputation...BMW paid &68 mil to build a brand new car and call it a
Rolls...
