Re: SoCal riceboys



As I had stated in a previous message, power shifting can be a very
effective way to spin a bearing.  Also, depending on the age of your engine
& how harsh your power shifting technique is, it may cause a rod to declare
its independence from the crank.  However, I think the GLX has a rev limiter
which may help matters.  Of course, bouncing off the limiter generally hurts
acceleration.  Anyway, power shifting accelerates wear & tear throughout the
engine & drivetrain, & proves the old saying to be true as ever: "Speed is
money; how fast would you like to go?"
