Re: Dealer Oil Change, Mobil 1 & that "sleazy feeling"



You find out what oil they normally use, buy some, also buy more Mobil 1,
put samples of both and some from your engine in an old frying pan and heat
it up. See which sample your engine oil matches most!
I'm just guessing at this, you could always take a sample from your engine
and send it to a lab of some sort and ask them if it is synthetic or not - I
would think that would be easy to figure out, but once again, I'm just
guessing.
