Generally for used parts no problem, other than making sure they fit,
you can figure out how to install it, you might need hardware, etc.
Make sure his year fits Your year, cross check Stock VW numbers.  Stress
bars are fairly easy, sways, ok.  Check if springs are sagging (off car,
how?).  The one thing to realize is that shocks will deteriorate with
age and type of use on them, life is anywhere from 20K mi. city use to
50K mi. highway.
