Sounds like you may have a vacuum leak in the line going to that door.  Their is
a coupling of sorts running between the door and the B pillar.  Check to make
sure it's not been damaged.  The humming is the vacuum put inside, just above
and behind that wheel well.  That noise is "perfectly normal".   Hey, check
under the rear seats as well.  You're looking for light green lines that
resemble windshield washer injector line, about a 1/4 inch in diameter. Make
sure they're in good shape.

Oh, if your car is still under the 2Y/24K warranty take it to the dealer and let
him worry about it.  If you can't locate the problem. Get back to me. I've torn
apart the in side of the car a number of times for stereo work and I've got a
Bentley manual as well.
