Gang -

Some of you east coasters may be interested in a different type of
drivers
education event I've learned of (through HMS / BMWCCA).  Tim O'Neil (you
rally buffs will remember Tim used to race Rallye Golfs!) is teaching a
"Skid School" on either the 1st or 2nd weekend in March (weather
permitting).

In a nutshell, it sounds as though he'll be teaching folks how to control
their cars on snow / ice / water.  He'll cover braking, sliding, left
foot
braking, and probably spinning!  If the class goes well, they generally
do
some slippery time trials too!

It's $125 for the class.  It's held in the Franconia, NH area (near
Cannon
Mountain).  If you're interested, or have any questions, call Tim @

Also, they're looking for some good sized parking lots in the Boston area
too!
