I saw a science program, like Beyond 2000 or something, on noise cancellation
technology. The company they were talking about has a product that installs
into the engine compartment of your vehicle and cancels out most of the engine
noise via speakers that broadcast the exact opposite sound that the engine is
making. Anyway, regardless of how they do it( I heard it work ) they have an
option that not only cancels out the noise but can replace it with any of
about four different famous cars. Yes, the Ferrari was one of them. It was
very strange going down the road in tiny little import, flipping a switch,
and then hearing yourself in a Ferrari.

No, it aint cheap! :-)
