The problem is that there are too many damned Christophers/Christians in the
world, so finding a nickname is almost a requirement.  Last semester I had a
class with 4 Christophers, yet the prof referred to everyone by first names.
It gets to be a pain after a while.  Not to mention that there are a bunch
of girls named Chris, too.  How many of us are there on the list?  Off the
top of my head I can think of:

Chris Warren (Tofer)
Chris Morgan (me)
Chris Franson
Chris Collier
c
cHRIs

...and these are the ones who post regularly.  What about the lurkers?
