I always "upgrade" parts when possible, accidents are no exception... 
Once the check is in your hand, you can buy any damn exhaust you feel 
like! Don't let a shop bully you into allowing them to purchase the hipo 
parts in hopes of extra profit, I had this problem with my recent 
repairs. Easy to resolve...
