you should have checked my last message.

highlights:

- don't need to unrivet anything
- don't connect any negatives.  cut them???  i dont' know what you mean.
don't confuse yourself, just tape all the negatives on both ends off.
- don't forget to connect the amp turn on.
- enjoy the stereo, it works.
